The Beaverhead-Deerlodge Partnership is a group of eight timber companies and conservation organizations. In early 2006, these groups put their long-standing differences aside to draft a plan that incorporated all uses of the forest. The group of Montanans came together on the premise that there is room for everyone in the forest. By working together, the Partnership collaboratively created a proposal that provides a sustainable timber supply and that sets aside some of the forests most special and wild places.
